Samsung unveiled its latest Notebooks in the US with Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) yesterday. The Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) now comes with support for S-Pen and is a hybrid notebook which can be rotated to 180 degrees which double up as laptop cum Tablet.
Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) comes in two variants one with 13 inches which weighs just 995 grams and other with 15 inches which weigh 1.25 kgs.Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) is made out of magnesium alloy of Metal 12 and come with slimmer bezels measuring around 6.2 mm.Both of the notebooks using the same FHD display.
Both the Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) is powered by 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor coupled NVIDIA MX150 GPU on 15 inches and Intel HD Graphics on 13 inches.It is having 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB SSD (NVMe PCIe) storage.
The connectivity option includes USB-C x 1, USB 3.0 X 2, HDMI X1, USD, HP/Mic, and DC-in on both the notebooks. The 15 inches notebook also comes with Thunderbolt 3 x 1 (or USB type C) port.It comes with 720p HD front camera and 1.5 watts x 2 speakers.It also has the fingerprint scanner and comes with backlight keyboard.
All this is fueled by 75Wh 6-cell battery and runs on Windows 10 OS and are expected to launch at CES 2018 in the US and will go on sale starting from Dec 2017 in South Korea and Jan 2018 in the US.
Samsung also launched the third Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) which is 13.3 inches FHD display and have almost the same specs as the other two but with lower 512GB SSD storage and lower battery capacity with 39Wh.The special feature includes support for S-Pen functionality on this notebook which other two notebook doesn’t have.It also comes with IR Camera.
