Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite in India which is a budget smartphone from Xiaomi.Earlier we had leaks about Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus rumored to be launched soon with a bezel-less display having an aspect ratio of 18:9. Today, we have spotted the two variants of Redmi 5 Plus under 3C certification in China.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus recently passed through 3C certification in China which are listed as MDE1 and MDT1.Not only the Redmi 5 Plus but even the Redmi Note 5 is rumored to be having Full-screen display, however, the base version of Redmi 5 will come with traditional 16:9 display.As per rumors, all the three devices will launch together by this month end or the first week of December.
As per rumors, the Redmi 5 Plus will sport 5.9 inches FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 or 5.7 inches HD+ display.It will be powered by MediaTek Helio P25 chip coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage and also there are strong rumors of Xiaomi might release Snapdragon variant of Redmi 5 Plus with the SD636 chip.The Redmi 5 Plus will be completely made out of metal.It will run on Android N with MIUI 9 out of the box.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is expected to be priced at $240 (Rs.15,500/-). As per some rumors, Xiaomi might launch the Redmi Note 5 on November 11 and also they are chances of launching Redmi 5 with Redmi 5 Plus on the same event.
Apart from that we also got new renders of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus which was leaked on Weibo yesterday.As per the leaked image, we can see the Redmi 5 Plus is now having nearly thin bezels and sporting a FullView Display having an aspect ratio of 18:9.
There is also Dual camera setup at the back with Dual tone dual LED flash and fingerprint scanner below it.We have to wait for official announcement which is going to be held at Nov 11.
