As per rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S9 might come as high as 90% of the screen to body ratio which means will have a nearly bezel-less display this time and is 6% higher than Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ which is having 83.6 and 84% screen to body ratio.So, the bezel-less trend will even rule the market next year too with many brands working on smartphones with higher display sizes under compact sizes.
According to rumors, the bottom chin on Samsung Galaxy S8 will no longer have that chin on Samsung Galaxy S9, which means that the chin is replaced by a larger screen.Even the bezels above the display will be narrower than other devices.There is no info whether the sides of the Galaxy S9 will be reduced or not as they are already using curved sides and comes with thinner bezels.
So probably, we can expect upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 will have a larger screen to body ratio and gives direct competition to recently launched iPhone X.
