Asus launched its first smartphone with a bezel-less display having an aspect ratio of 18:9 with Asus Pegasus 4S in China last month and today we have the next device and the first smartphone under Zenfone series with a bezel-less display with Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) which was unveiled in Russia yesterday.
Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is made out of metal and comes in various colors with Rose Gold, Silver and Black.It weighs 160 grams and is 8.8 mm thick.The Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) sports 5.7 inches Super IPS LCD FHD+ display having an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 2.5D curved glass on top.
Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is powered by MediaTek MT6750T chip clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB onboard storage which can be expanded via dedicated microSD card slot up to 256GB.
It comes with Dual camera setup at the back which is the 16MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and the 8MP secondary sensor with 120 degrees wide angle lens.It comes with PDAF, the fast focus of just 0.03 seconds, and LED flash.The selfie camera is of 8Mp with an aperture of f/2.0 and 85 degrees wide-angle lens.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio port.All this fueled by 4130 mAh battery and no support for fast charging.It runs on Android 7.1.1 out of the box with Zen UI 4.0 on top.
