After series of leaks and ad promotion on social media, we finally have the Oppo F5 officially launched in the Philippines yesterday.The Oppo F5 4GB+32GB is priced at 15,990 PHP (Rs.20,000/-) and is up for pre-orders starting from today.The device will go on sale starting from Nov 4.Oppo has also confirmed that Oppo F5 will be launched in India on Nov 2 and will also make available in countries like Russia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand later this year.
Oppo F5 is having an all-metal unibody design and comes in three colours with Gold, Red and Black colour options.It weighs 152 grams and is 7.5 mm thick. The Oppo F5 sports 6 inches FHD+ (2160*1080p) LCD display having an aspect ratio of 18:9.The Oppo F5 is no longer having a physical home button, unlike the Oppo F3 instead will come with on-screen navigation button and the fingerprint scanner is moved to the rear of the device.Oppo F5 is also having AI beauty recognition system which can detect 200 facial spots to beautify the image and comes with Facial unlock feature via selfie camera.
Oppo F5 is powered by MediaTek MT6763T Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB onboard storage with a dedicated microSD card slot.There is a 16MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and 20MP selfie camera having an aperture of f/2.0 and uses 1/2.8 inches sensor with AI beauty mode and facial recognition with Portrait mode for selfies.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, Dual-band Wifi, USB OTG, micro USB port, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio port and A-GPS support.All this is fueled with 3200 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1.1 with custom Color OS 3.2 on top.
