Even we had some rumors of OnePlus ditching the OnePlus 5T and will directly launch the OnePlus 6 earlier than expected.OnePlus 5 was launched in June similar to previous year OnePlus 3 but after 6 months OnePlus unveiled the new flagship for OnePlus 3 with OnePlus 3T.OnePlus 5 is no longer cheaper than previous year flagship devices as it is priced at Rs.32,999/- for base 6GB RAM and Rs.37,999/- for 8GB RAM version. When compared with other flagship the OnePlus 5 use to shine due to its stock Android UI and fast performance with exceptionally great cameras. It is still a great Android smartphone under 40K as it has everything similar to some other brands flagship devices which are selling for higher prices.
Even if the OnePlus 5 performing better and is still popular the OnePlus team has not yet restocked its units on the official website which might be due to huge competition from other brands. As per OnePlus, they will restock the inventory based on the most sold color and configuration.Earlier reports also claim that OnePlus is planning to launch its successor to OnePlus 5 with OnePlus 6 and not the OnePlus 5T. The OnePlus 6 might release earlier this time not sure of exact date as of now.As per leaks, OnePlus 6 will be following the bezel-less display trend and might sport a display with an aspect ratio 18:9.It will be powered by SD845 chip coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and will also have an IP68 rating which will make device dust and water resistant. As of now, we don’t have any leaks of the device itself but we have to wait for few more weeks for some leaks of the upcoming OnePlus 6.
