After launching their first 4G feature phone with BSNL called the Micromax Bharat 1 which went on sale last week, now Micromax has partnered with Vodafone to launch its very first Android smartphone called the Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G in India. The Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G is launched for a price tag of Rs.2899/- and will go on sale starting from November across all leading offline retail outlets.

The Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G is directly competing with Reliance JioPhone and Airtel recently launched Karbonn A40.Both Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G and Karbonn A40 is priced at Rs.2899 the only difference is the Airtel 4G smartphone will be effectively cost you Rs.1399/- whereas the Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G will cost you Rs.999/- so price difference of Rs.400/-.
Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G owner has to do a recharge of minimum Rs.150 for a period of three years and Vodafone will credit Rs.900 the cashback on Vodafone mPesa account after 18 months from the date of purchase and the remaining balance of Rs.1000/- after a period of 36 months from the date of purchase.You can use any SIM card as it is Dual SIM device but to be eligible for cashback one have to put the Vodafone SIM card and do a recharge of minimum Rs.150 or higher.So the offer is exactly the same as Airtel’s 4G smartphone.

Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G is completely made out of plastic comes with classy candy bar design.The Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra 4G  sports 4 inches 480*800p WVGA display.It is powered by Spreadtrum SC9832 chip clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

There is a 2MP rear camera with LED flash which can record videos up to 720p.It is having 0.3 MP selfie camera at the front.The connectivity options include Dual SIM with VoLTE and 4G LTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio port and FM Radio.All this is fueled with 1300 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 out of the box.
