Google announced their latest flagship for 2017 with Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL on Oct 4. Now the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are available for pre-orders starting from today exclusively via Flipkart and other offline retailers.The Google Pixel 2 with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage is priced at Rs.61,000/- and Google Pixel 2 with 4GB RAM and 128GB is priced at Rs.70,000/- whereas the Google Pixel 2 XL is priced at Rs.73,000/- for base 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage and Rs.82,000/- for 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage option.
The launch offers on Flipkart include extra Rs.5000/- off if you exchange your old device with Google Pixel 2 or Google Pixel 2 XL, 50% buyback value, Get Sennheiser Headset worth Rs.11,990/- for just Rs.1 only applicable if you pre-order it, No Cost EMI and Rs.8000/- extra cash back if you are existing HDFC bank customer and buy the device on EMI.

Google launches the successor to last year original Google Pixel with Google Pixel 2 in the US.The Google Pixel 2 comes with similar design with metal and glass sandwiched back.The Google Pixel 2 is completely made out of Aluminium unibody with the hybrid coating.The Google Pixel 2 weighs 143 grams and is 7.8 mm thick.It will be available in three colours with Just Black, Clearly White and Kinda Blue.
The Google Pixel 2 sports a 5 inches FHD 1920 x 1080p AMOLED display having an aspect ratio of 16:9 and is also protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also comes with always on display feature.The device is powered by SD835 chip coupled with 4GB RAM and comes in 64GB and 128GB onboard storage.
Google Pixel 2 is having the same 12.2MP single rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, 1.4-micron meter, Laser AF, Dual Pixel PDAF, Dual tone Dual LED flash and has support for both Optical Image stabilisation and Electronic Image Stabilisation.It can record videos up to 4K @30fps and 1080p @120fps.There is 8MP selfie camera with 1.4-micron meter, having an aperture of f/2.4, and Fixed focus. The selfie camera can shoot videos at the 1080p @30fps.The camera on the Google Pixel 2 is the having the DxO rating of 98 which is the highest rating for smartphone camera till date.Now the Google Camera app comes with support for Google Lens where you can click the picture and Google AI instantly searches the images online and gives you the details of the location or products or even scan and send the emails or save contact number to your contact book.
The connectivity option includes Single SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Dual-band Wifi, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port for charging and Audio as there is no 3.5 mm audio port on both Pixel devices and rear fingerprint scanner below the camera module.The Pixel 2 comes with Dual stereo speakers on the front below the display and another top of the display which doubles up as an earpiece.It also has the IP67 rating which makes the Pixel 2 dust an water resistant.It also comes with squeeze feature which was last seen on HTC U11 with Edge Sense.All this is fueled by 2750 mAh battery and support for QC 3.0.The device runs on Android Oreo with latest security patches and Google has promised to give updates up to 3 years.
