Amazon finally launches its Alexa powered smart speakers in India today with Amazon Echo Dot, Amazon Echo and Amazon Echo Plus.All the three smart-speakers will be available for purchase via invite system only.With that, Amazon even announced the Amazon Prime Music which is coming soon to India.So Google didn’t make its Google Home speakers to India instead we have the Alexa powered Amazon devices made its way to India.The Amazon Echo Dot is priced at Rs.4499/-, Amazon Echo is priced at Rs.9999/- and Amazon Echo Plus is priced at 14,999/-.

The launch offers include with every purchase of Echo speakers you will also get 30% discount on the above-quoted price and also free one year Amazon Prime subscription worth Rs.499/-.All the devices will be shipped starting from Oct 30.After some time Amazon will start selling its Echo devices via popular offline retailers like Croma, Reliance Digital and other offline stores. The Prime Music will be free for all Prime Users without the need to pay any separate subscription fee.

As per Amazon, the Alexa now supports all English voice with local pronunciation and it will also understand some of the names of the person, non-English music title, local names and also the name of the places.Alexa will also have support from popular Indian apps like Saavn for music streaming, Zomato for ordering food, booking cab rides from Uber and Ola, booking carpenter via Urban Clap and even getting the latest news from all popular Indian websites.

Amazon Echo Dot is the cheapest of all other speakers comes with the small and compact design.The device weighs 163 grams and is just 84 mm thick. It is available in two colour option with Black and White.It is powered by Alexa an AI developed by Amazon.It comes with built-in speaker and supports Voice commands where you can ask anything like How is the weather today? and you will get an instant reply for the question, it works similar to Google Assitant.It has also support for far-field voice recognition so that you can speak from far places the speaker recognises your voice and reply back to you.It comes with seven microphones so that it senses the voice correctly and replies back.Unfortunately, due to size, there is a single speaker support.

The connectivity options include 3.5 mm audio port, micro USB power out, Bluetooth with A2DP support, and Dual-band Wifi.On the top, we have the four buttons with Volume up and down, Action button and Mute button.There is a circular light ring which blinks when it detects sound and is surrounded with seven microphones.

The Amazon Echo is the next which has a cylindrical bar-like design. It comes with Dual speaker support and functions similar to the above Amazon Echo Dot.The device weighs 821 grams and is just 88 mm thick. It is available in two colour option with Black and White.The differentiating factor between the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot is the Dual speaker support with  2.5 inches woofer present on Amazon Echo.

The connectivity options include 3.5 mm audio port, micro USB power out, Bluetooth with A2DP support, and Dual-band Wifi.On the top, we have the four buttons with Volume up and down, Action button and Mute button.There is a circular light ring which blinks when it detects sound and is surrounded with seven microphones.

The last on the list is with Amazon Echo Plus which is too looks similar to Amazon Echo but it is slightly taller than the Amazon Echo.The device weighs 954 grams and is just 88 mm thick. It is available in two colour option with Black and White.The only additional feature to Amazon Echo Plus is the Dual speaker support with built-in smart hub functionality.It also comes with 2.5″ woofer.So we can even control smart devices like dimming of smart light or turn on or off the light with the help of Amazon Echo Plus apart from that all other features remains the same as the above two devices.
