Airtel recently partnered with Karbonn and launched its first JioPhone competitor with Karbonn A40 which was effectively cost Rs.1349/- and now Airtel has now partnered with Celkon Mobiles and launched the second device with Celkon 4G smartphone which comes under the Airtel’s Mera Pehla 4G Smartphone initiative.The Celkon Smart 4G smartphone will be available on all leading offline retail outlets across India.

The Celkon Smart 4G smartphone is priced at Rs.2849/- and will be effectively cost Rs.1349/-.As per terms and condition, it is exactly the same as Karbonn A40 smartphone user have to make a payment of Rs.2849/- and purchase the device and has to do a recharge of Rs.3000/- for first 18 months to receive the cashback of Rs.500/- after 18 months and again user has to recharge Rs.3000/- for next 18 months to receive the remaining Rs.1000/- cashback after completion of 36 months.The user will receive cashback of rs.1500/- on Airtel payment Bank wallet.Airtel has also launched Rs.169 plan which is the same as last seen on Karbonn A40 smartphone which will provide 500 MB of 4G data per day with unlimited calling for 28 days.

Celkon Smart 4G smartphone sports 4 inches WVGA display having a resolution of 800*480p. It weighs 119 grams and is 11mm thick. It is powered by a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

There is 3.2 MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP selfie camera.The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.All this is fueled by 1500 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 out of the box.
