After Industry Insider claims about the upcoming Sony devices will have all new design named as Mirai now we have official Sony Exec too claiming the same. As per Sony India, MD Mr.Kenichiro Hibi stated that the upcoming Sony Xperia lineup will come with all new design with that the old Omnibalance design will be the end by 2017 and 2018 lineup will come with all new design.
The MD of Sony India even mentioned will be soon joining the 18:9 aspect ratio bezel-less display trend.So Sony is even planning to bring major design changes in the mid-range devices and Sony also claimed that they have no plan of bringing low-budget devices.
As Indian markets are focused on Entry level smartphones Sony is planning to double up its premium and mid-range smartphones. Recently Sony even launched its premium-mid tier flagship Sony Xperia XZ1 at the price of Rs.44,999/- and also launched the new mid-range device with Sony Xperia XA1 Plus.
