Earlier leaks revealed some of the key specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series 2018 edition. As per Industry Insider, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A 2018 series some of the devices will be powered by Exynos 9610 and Exynos 7885 which is still under development and will be available this summer.
Earlier leaks claim that Exynos 9610 will be available by end of Q4 this year and Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy A 2018 series in Q1 2018.Both the Exynos 7885 and Exynos 9610 are mid-range chips from Samsung and the Exynos 9610 will be more powerful chip when compared with Exynos 7885 and will also have similar performance as we saw on Exynos 8895 powering on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8.Both the chips are made for upper-midrange devices to compete with SD660.
The Exynos 9610 is having a 64-bit architecture with 4 high-performance cores of ARM Cortex A73 cluster clocked at a max frequency of 2.4 GHz and other 4 power efficient cores with ARM Cortex A53 with no details about the clock speed. It is having latest Mali-G71 MP20 GPU with fully integrated LTE modem as per rumors.Exynos 9610 is expected to be built on a 10nm process which will make a huge difference in terms of performance between the A-series and C-series devices. But, as per earlier leaks, the Exynos 9610 will be built on the 14nm process for cost-cutting.
The Exynos 7885 is built on the 14nm FinFET process and was powering the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 as per previous leaks. As we all know Samsung will not release the Exynos powered chips in all regions and would be limited to some Asian Countries.
