Earlier we got the screenshot which claims that the upcoming Mi Mix 2 will have support for 3D facial recognition. We also had various design renders leaked of the upcoming Mi Mix 2. Now we have the official concept video shared by the designer Philippe Starck on Facebook yesterday.The same person had designed the original Xiaomi Mi Mix earlier which was a huge success so now the same designer is all set to launch the Mi Mix 2 and is expected to come without any bezels as per video.
From the shared video, we can see the completely bezel-less display on all the 3 sides leaving the bottom we have the thin bezel with a secondary camera and this time too there is no earpiece and Xiaomi might use the Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic speaker tech instead similar to original Mi Mix.The Proximity sensor is now replaced with Ultrasonic Proximity sensor similar to original Mi Mix.From the above video, the Mi Mix 2 resembles the design similar to what we found on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ which too had the curved Infinity display.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will come with curved display corners with an aspect ratio 18:9 as found on Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and LG G6.Earlier reports claimed that Xiaomi is busy working on Mi Mix 2 with the same designer Philippe Starck and also shared some of the pics of the Xiaomi Headquarters in China.
As per earlier leaks, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is rumoured to have 6.4 inches 2K AMOLED display. It will be powered by SD835 chip coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB internal storage options.From the above video, we can tell that Xiaomi will use the same Ceramic and Metal combination one found on original Mi Mix.As per leaks, Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi Mix 2 on Sept 12 but there is no official confirmation yet.
