Last week we got the images of the upcoming Redmi Note 5A leaked which also revealed the specs of the device. Now we have some news that the device which was leaked last week was not the Redmi Note 5A instead was the successor to the last year launched Redmi 4A with Redmi 5A.
Now the upcoming Redmi 5A has been spotted on TENAA in China which is having the similar specs what we saw last week with Redmi Note 5A.As per TENAA reports, it is having a new model number as MDT6 but there are no images leaked for the device.
As per TENAA, the upcoming MDT6 is having 5.5 inches 720p display which is similar to last year launch Redmi 4A but had 5 inches screen.It is now powered by SD425 chip clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.The device is running on Android 7.1.1 with MIUI 8 on top.There are no details for the camera.But the device will be fueled with 3000 mAh battery.The device weighs 150 grams and is 7.31 mm thick.It will support 4G LTE and will be available in a bunch of colours like Black, Rose Gold, Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray and Silver colours.So from the leaked details, we can see it is similar to last week leaked Redmi Note 5A. As of now, there are no details regarding the launch date, we have to wait for few more days for some more details.
Apart from that we even had some leaks about the last week leaked Redmi Note 5A.As per latest leaks, the Redmi Note 5A is now having two model number with MDE6S and MDT6S. The upcoming Redmi Note 5A will now sport 5.5 inches FHD display and will now have the rear mounted fingerprint scanner. It will be powered by SD625 chip coupled with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM options.The device which was leaked earlier is Redmi 5A and not the Redmi Note 5A as per TENAA reports.
There are also rumours that the Redmi Note 5A will be launched next week on Aug 21 in China.
