Apart from pricing details getting leaked, there are some final renders of the upcoming iPhone 8 too got leaked.The leaked details are from the source of Apple’s Supply Chain, which is turned into pictures by case maker.
As per the above images, we can see the all new 5.8 inches bezel-less OLED display made by Samsung displays.The bezels on all sides will be just 4mm thick.From the images, we can see there is no 3.5 mm audio port this time too and there is only lightening port and single speaker mesh beside it at the bottom of the device.There are rumours that iPhone 8 charging cable might have USB Type C port on one side and traditional lightening connector on another side which connects the device. This implementation will help iPhone to introduce its fast charging capabilities and will be the first iPhone to come with fast charging.
Similar to iPhone 7 stereo speakers the iPhone 8 too will have one at the bottom and other at the earpiece which doubles up as front firing speaker.As per the above images, we can even see the enlarged Power button again which might have Touch ID fingerprint scanner enabled similar to one found on Sony flagship smartphones.
At the top, we can see there is small cutout for earpiece and sensors with Front facing camera, beside that we can see battery icon on one side and network status on another side of the cut-out. We have wait and see how iOS 11 will be implemented for the above small indicators near the cutout.With iOS 11 all the notification will be shown at the bottom of the display now called as the function area.
We have to wait for few more months as Apple might launch the next iPhone only in Sept/Oct 2017.
