HTC latest offering the HTC U11 has finally touched the Indian shores. HTC U11 6GBRAM+128GB onboard storage the squeezable smartphone is priced at Rs.51,990/- in India and will be available on Amazon and offline stores. You can pre-order the HTC U11 from HTC e-store from June 17, those who preorder the HTC U11 will receive HTC flip case worth Rs.1999/- for free.It will be available in two colour options one with Amazing Silver and Brilliant Black.If you purchase HTC U11 via Standard Chartered debit/credit card yu will get 10% cashback on MOP only for the limited period from June 26.
HTC U11 is completely built out of metal and glass with the glossy back. It has a new feature called Edge Sense where you need to squeeze your phone to launch apps and open camera etc. You can also use a “short squeeze” as well as a “squeeze and hold” for more functionality by activating the advanced touch mode. The company said at the launch that it will introduce new Edge Sense features in the coming days.It is just 7.9 mm thick and weighs 169 grams.
HTC U11 is having 5.5 inches QHD Super LCD 5 display with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It is powered by SD 835 coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB with expansion slot via microSD card up to 2TB.There is fingerprint scanner below the display which doubles up as the home button.
HTC U11 comes with a 12MP rear camera with Dual LED flash,f/1.7 aperture,1.4-micrometer pixel and Ultrapixel 3.0. It also has with BSI sensor and OIS.The rear camera can record videos up to 4K with 3D Audio, Hi-Res and Acoustic Focus.It has 16MP selfie camera with BIS sensor, f/2.0 aperture and video recording up to 1080p.
HTC U11 is Dual SIM smartphone with the Hybrid slot where you can either put second SIM or a microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, AGPS, Wifi with DualBand support, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, Hi-Res, HTC BoomSound Hifi and USB Type-C port.There is no 3.5 mm audio jack in this smartphone.It has 4 microphones and support for 3D Audio recording.The HTC U 11 is also IP68 certified as water resistant.All this is powered by 3000 mAh battery with support for QC 3.0.It runs Android 7.1 out of the box with HTC latest Sense UI.
At the price of Rs.51,990, it is stealing deal for the specs what it offers.So HTC is giving a tight competition to Sony Xperia XZ premium and Samsung Galaxy S8.
