Finally Motorola launches the Moto Z2 Play . After series of leaks of the device all those leaks were real and the device looks same as in leaks.There are few new Moto Mods too.
The Moto Z2 Play is having similar design with metal and glass what we saw on last year Moto Z series and the only change is antenna bands running along the sides of the device and redesigned fingerprint scanner.The Moto Z2 Play is 1mm thinner than its predecessor just 5.99 mm in thick.It is splash proof as it as water resistant nano coating on it.It weighs 145 grams.
The Moto Z2 Play is powered by SD 626 coupled with 3GB and 32 GB storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage options. It is having 5.5 inches 1080p Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection.The storage can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 2TB.
On the back it has 12MP camera with 1.4 um with dual AutoFocus pixel lens and has aperture of f/1.7. it also comes with Laser AF and PDAF.The rear camera has Dual LED Xenon Flash.It can record videos up to 4K @ 30fps.The selfie camera is of 5MP with an aperture of f/2.2 and has an wide angle lens.It can record videos up to 1080p @ 30fps.
This time there is an 3.5 mm audio jack and there is separate USB Type C port for charging.The connectivity option include Dual Band Wifi, GPS, Glonass, Moto Mods, NFC,4G LTE,Single SIM and Bluetooth 4.2.It is fueled by 3000 mAh battery with QC support.
That’s not all Moto also launches a new set of Moto Mods. The first one is for gamers with Moto GamePad which turns your phone into handheld gaming console with Dual analog joysticks and D pad.It is also having separate 1,035 mAh battery.The Moto GamePad will cost $79.99.
The next Mod is with for extra Juice with Moto Turbo Power Pack.It is having 3,490 mAh battery and can charge your phone faster.It will cost $79.99.
The next is for audio lovers with JBL Soundboost 2.It has 2 x 3W speakers with an kick stand and has separate 1000mAh battery.It will cost $79.99.
The last mod is for wireless charging support with Moto Style Shell.It is stylish back cover with an additional support for Qi & PMA charging pad.It will cost $39.99.
The Moto Z2 Play is available for preorder in the Brazil and is launched at price tag of R$1,999 and will be available in US via Verizon from July 2017.
