Micromax owned Yu Televentures launched a new entry level smartphone with Yu Yureka Black for a price tag of Rs.8999/- in India. The device will be exclusive to Flipkart and will go on sale from June 6 at 12:01 AM.There are two colour options one with Chrome Black and other with Matte Black finish variants.The launch offers include flat Rs.300 cashback if the phone is bought paying via the PhonePe app.
The Yu Yureka Black is completely built out of metal unibody and looks different compared to other Yureka smartphones.As per some sources, it is the rebranded variant of the Chinese manufacturer smartphone.It has fingerprint scanner at the front below the display which also doubles up as the home button.At the rear, there is a 13MP camera with a LED flash.
The Yu Yureka Black is powered with 1.4GHz SD 430 with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.It has 5 inches FHD display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
As per camera, it has a 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor with Dual LED flash and PDAF support.The selfie camera is of 8MP and also has LED flash.Both the camera can record videos up to 1080p @ 30fps.
The Yu Yureka Black is fueled with 3000 mAh battery. The connectivity options include Dual SIM hybrid with 4G VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS.It runs Android 6.0 out of the box which is outdated.
At the price of Rs.8999/- it is directly competing with Redmi 4 and Lenovo K6 Power which are too having similar specs but Redmi 4 is having SD 435 with the 720p display. So we have to wait how will this phone perform compared to other phones similarly priced at this segment.
