Qualcomm launched its first 10nm built chip SD 835 with Samsung and now it is all set to start the trail for the 7nm built SD 845, but this time with TSMC.

TSMC began the 7nm built chip development in April this year and now it is under production trail. By this we can tell the new SD 845 will be launched by end of this year or early 2018. The SD 845 might be launched with the next year Samsung flagship the Samsung Galaxy S9. But with Qualcomm starting the manufacturing of 7nm built chip their competitor Huawei, MediaTek & Nvdia too are all set to manufacture their own chip built on new 7nm tech, so it is tough competition for Qualcomm. The new 7nm built chip are 25 to 35% faster than the 10nm chip and it will be able to house this performance improvement in a smaller frame, which might even affect the size of the smartphone.

So we can expect now the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 will be powered by SD 845 and will launch early 2018.
