iQOO unveiled the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro in China in December 2023. Both devices were equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets.  According to the brand, it is now working on the Neo 9S Pro series of smartphones, which are expected to be incremental upgrades over the Neo9.

According to the poster above, iQOO will unveil the Neo 9S Pro with the all-new Dimensity 9300 Plus chip in China this month. This teaser shows the white variant of the device. Vivo presented two phones powered by this chip at the same event: the X100s and the iQOO Neo 9s Pro.  On Weibo, pictures of the actual phones displayed at the event have been circulating.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro:

Despite its flat screen and punch-hole camera, the iQOO Neo 9s Pro maintains the design language of the Neo 9 Pro.

A look at the phone’s settings page reveals that it will come with a whopping 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. To enhance gaming performance, iQOO will also include its own Q1 chip.

In addition, we saw a glimpse of the Vivo X100s, which keeps the same design as the other phones in the X100 series.

According to a Chinese leaker, there will also be an iQOO Neo 9S Pro+. According to reports, this device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. With a 6.78-inch flat OLED display and 144Hz refresh rate, the Neo 9s Pro should feature a 1.5K resolution and 1.5K resolution.

Despite the unconfirmed battery capacity, it could follow the Neo 9 Pro with a 5,160mAh battery and 120W fast charging. The phone is expected to feature a triple camera system with a main 50MP sensor.

We are still waiting for confirmation of the specifications of the iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9S Pro+. Except for their different chipsets, the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro are likely to have the same specs.

According to Vivo, iQOO’s parent company, the Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, and X100 Ultra will launch on May 13 in China. Therefore, we can expect to see the Neo 9S Pro in the second half of this month.
