With the launch of the Pulse phones – three models in the €100-€200 price range – HMD Global is forging its own path, despite the Nokia/HMD partnership still having some way to go.

As consumers increasingly place an emphasis on repairability and environmentally-conscious products, HMD is betting on these trends. iFixit offers self-repair kits for the Pulse range, which HMD describes as “Gen 1-repairable”. In addition to changing the battery, the screen must also be replaced.
